Tasting Notes

The distinct and pure scent of juniper, a tangy and crisp citrus note, a sweet, floral aroma, a hint of peppery spices, subtle bitter fruit, and a deep and harmoniously balanced complexity with a tremendously racy finish.

She recommends this German bombshell due to its high content of aromatic lingonberries and floral lavender, not to mention the hand-peeled lemon and grapefruit, which pair so well with the cocktails in this box. Production Notes

It starts with a love for London dry gin made from a unique molasses base, adds regional plant ingredients and exotic Indian spices of the highest quality and mixes them with centuries of German distilling expertise. The result is a master-quality gin of complexity and harmony unlike any other. While most gins use 12 botanicals or fewer, Monkey 47 gin's blend is meticulously crafted with 47 different botanicals, like lingonberries, hand-peeled citrus fruits, herbs, flowers and spices.  It is produced in batches using traditional distilling methods. Here's what  has to say.
