The first legal American absinthe released after the U.S. ban was lifted in 2007, St. George Absinthe Verte remains one of the most acclaimed American spirits in this category. Made from organically grown artemisia absinthium (wormwood) grown in California and distilled in France, it’s rich notes of anise and fennel are balanced with lemon peel and a subtle tinge of citrus on the finish.

St. George Absinthe Verte has an easygoing, smooth finish that is perfect for a Sunday breakfast or nightcap. Its scent is fresh and herbal, with notes of mint, hyssop and angelica root covered by grassy elemi oil and a touch of clove, balanced by citrus peel oils.
