Finish: Dark chocolate, dry tannins, with warming spice.
Ed's review
Colour: Natural colour, rich mahogany
Nose: Blackberries and redcurrants with autumnal red apples. Sticky toffee pudding with dark dates. Malt loaf.
Palate: Medium mouthfeel. Rich, fruity and heavily sherried. Currents, raisins, and dates with brown sugar. A little Christmas spice with nutmeg and cinnamon. Well-integrated alcohol adds body and complexity, without burn.
Finish: Long finish, again with heavily sherried fruit character, and a dark chocolate note. Rich and welcomes another sip.
Overall: A wonderful sherried dram, delicious.
