Glen Grant 1994 Tasting Notes

Nose: Freshly toasted crumpets smoothed in rich butter. Scones with sultanas. A new leather satchel, full of nutmeg and exotic spice.

Palate: Gingernut biscuits dipped in chocolate. Fruit mix with berries, sultanas, and orange peel. Woody spices with cloves and pepper.

Finish: Old oak with milk chocolate, malt, and a little spice.

About this Càrn Mòr whisky

Distilled on 27th of April 1994 at the wonderful Glen Grant distillery. This single cask whisky then matured for 27 years in a single bourbon barrel (61723) before being bottled at cask strength of 52.8% on 2nd of August 2021. Only 171 bottles have been produced by Càrn Mòr and you won’t be disappointed with ripe orchard fruits with spice and citrus peel on the palate. A classic Glen Grant, and lovely at that.
