Paying homage to the year Old Forester was founded, 1920 Prohibition Style Bourbon is crafted in the style popular during Prohibition robust and full-bodied. Aged for nearly a decade in heavily charred barrels then bottled at 115 proof, it boasts intense flavors of dark chocolate, baking spices, oak and rich vanilla. Despite its boldness, it has a remarkable smoothness neat or on the rocks.

Tasting Notes for Old Forester 1920 Bourbon

Powerful aromas of oak, spice and cocoa give way to a rich palate of chocolate-covered cherries, cinnamon red hots, Madagascar vanilla and toasted barrel flavors. Thick, velvety texture with an extremely long, warming finish.
