All the characteristic spice and kick of Old Grand-Dad remains, but concentrated into a bigger, bolder bourbon that's perfect for sipping or for cocktails seeking a major flavor impact.

Tasting Notes for Old Grand Dad 114 Bourbon

Fiery and assertive on the nose, with scents of nutmeg, clove, roasted almond and dart cherries that promise a bourbon with some punch. The palate delivers a powerful blast of rye pepper and cinnamon heat on the entry gives way to sweet cherry preserves mid-palate before returning to the spice. Thick, oily texture and heat that lingers.

Suggested Serves

Works great in any cocktail that calls for an overproof bourbon. Try an OGD Old Fashioned, Boulevardier, or Sazerac. Also tasty neat for experienced high-proof bourbon drinkers.
